Lucinda Martin Interior Design is a design studio specialising in residential interiors for private clients. Based in Shropshire, the diverse portfolio encompasses both country and town houses. Lucinda manages all commissions personally, offering a one-to-one service to ensure her clients are guided seamlessly through the process. She prides herself on an ability to meticulously tailor designs to each client’s taste and budget, making considered choices in order to achieve this.
Using her extensive contact book of trades and craftsmen, alongside the P&P workroom means that Lucinda and her team are always working with experienced and trusted sources.
LMID team regularly visit design shows across the country, where they keep up to date with cutting edge technology (incorporating your husband’s 65” television is indeed possible with careful consideration!)
Lucinda has worked on the restoration of a late 18th Century Georgian Grade II listed mansion on the edge of Richmond Park, a newly built country house in Shropshire, as well as the refurbishment of a London pied a terre. Currently she is working on the renovation and redecoration of a substantial stately home in Shropshire.
Lucinda has designed and project managed an extensive portfolio of projects in both the country and London, ranging from stately homes to city pied a terres.
Read MoreLucinda graduated from the University of Nottingham in History of Art and then went on to gain a Merit in Architectural Interior Design from the Inchbald School of Design. She was mentored by the esteemed Caroline Lawson of Chelsea Decorators, (who was an advisor to the National Trust) where she honed Lucinda’s keen eye for the finer details of classical design and the intricacies of historical architecture.
Chelsea Decorators own an in-house curtain making studio which inspired Lucinda to set up her own P&P Workroom when she established her eponymous design practice to personally oversee every project’s soft furnishings component.
Lucinda’s interior design practice is based in Shropshire.
